When symbols drawn in blood lead investigators to two moms in town with extraordinary talents, Nella and Rae are ready for the challenge – baby Bjorn and all. Something infectious has been brewing in the In-Between and only these two moms and baby Tandy’s indestructible diaper can save the world, and more importantly, their families.
This one-of-a-kind supernatural mystery features characters rarely seen in the comics universe – moms! Nella is a medium who connects to spirits that reside in a place she calls the In-Between and Rae is a genius researcher with a supernatural database for a brain. They are the perfect duo to help solve the unusual murders plaguing their town.

Kari took a long and winding road to comics. Running a graphic and web design business while being a mother of two kids (and two furry ones) – her creative pursuits were put on hold. This year she set a goal to create something of her own and the idea for Metaphysical Moms spawned. Inspired by a 25-year friendship, many occult and unexplained experiences, and tons of true crime documentaries – all of this collided into a fun story worth reading.
